The Lifting Sling RPH Keyhole Double Amputee is a full body, padded, split leg Sling with head support. It is designed with keyhole plates to fit onto tilt frame Hoists that have ‘mushroom’ studs to attach the keyhole plates to.
The benefit of this Sling is the extra width of the leg section used under the thighs. This gives extra support when lifting. A special Leg Loop allows one of the Leg Sections to thread through the Leg Loop’ to help keep Leg Sections together when lifting.
This Sling has been beneficial to many single and double amputees, but it is important to test the Sling on individual patients to ensure that they will be safely lifted.
Safe Working Load (SWL): 220kg /485lbs
|Standard White||Nylon||This is called a solid material, as it is not a Mesh or Netting material that has holes in the material. The Nylon has some slipperiness, to make it easier to slide down behind a patient’s back, when they are sitting in a chair.|
|All Day Sling Material||Nylon||A strong, thin material with a Rip Stop thread in the material, to help reduce or prevent ripping. As the material is breathable the Slings can be left under the patients sitting in chairs. This reduces the need to remove the Sling after the patient has been hoisted into a chair, and then replace the Sling to pick them up again.|
